Hi Renae, This is just so generous of you. I have left a link from my blog to your giveaway and I have joined your little (ok big) group of followers - I have you on my sidebar always anyway in my blogroll so I can see each and every time you put a new posting on.
It would be easier to say what I don't like about Christmas then what I do. I'm not supposed to like anything aboud it because I'm Jewish but I just love it all and always have and always will.
I love to see the first decorations going up in all the houses and the excitement of the children's faces as they catch the first glimpse of the shops Santa Claus. I love the cards and the wrapping paper and all the new stuff that comes out and even trying to get the things for the children that are sold out and lining up for them.
Many years ago when my children were little I can remember standing in a queue (that's a line) in order to buy a Cabbage Patch Doll for each of my girls and when the dolls eventually came into the store everyone was allowed only one. What was I going to do? I had two daughters and I needed two dolls. So I begged and pleaded and eventually the manager of the toy department gave in and let me have the two I was so desperate for.
When I was a child and living in the US I can remember there was one house in New Jersey that had a Santa on it's huge lawn with the sleigh and the reindeer and huge candles that were lit every day. It was just amazing and I will never forget it as long as I live. The people that owned that house really symbolised Christmas for me every year until we left.
Sorry it's so long but you did ask. Lots and Lots of love Patti xxx
Oh I love surprises too. Can't past winners enter?
I love Christmas. Your already on the sidebar. I guess I should be nice and let someone else have a chance huh.
Anyway I will write about it and send some kids over! We are all kids at heart aren't we!
BTW I love the 4th of July photo's I thought I came over here but I guess I didn't.
Thanks for sharing all your treasures.
Have a great week.
Sherry

Our tree goes up the friday after Thanksgiving and doesn't come down until after Jan 6th for epithiny (I know thats spelled wrong!!! sorry!) I'm a red and white girl anyway so Christmas is just my thing!! (who am I kidding I love any excuse to decorate!) Christmas and Easter are the Holidays I like to leave out the longest!! Thanks for offering a super giveaway!!
Hugs, Lisa (I'm already a follower!)
I love surprises.I added your button and have become a member.
My best Christmas memory growing up was when we lived in an apartment building when I was about six years old. Each floor had to share two bathrooms.
Well I woke up on Christmas morning and there were no gifts under the tree. I woke my Mom and told her Santa forgot about us. She said he was probably running late and there was still time for him to come. She told me to go use the bathroom. Well I did and when I came back there was the presents under the tree. I was so happy and Mom said " Now didn't I tell you he was still delivering presents"

Hello Ranae! Just wanted to tell you I've posted your Giveaway Banner and the link back to you on my blog, Loveleigh Treasures. I found you a couple of weeks ago and fell IN love with your art. I even snagged a little piece to add to my blog sidebar. I think it is truly magical and told everyone else when I posted your banner. You have an amazing eye and a beautiful aesthetic. I will definitely be "borrowing" more of your magic in the future!
Now as to Christmas. What don't I like about it? I LOVE the smells, the colors, baking the Christmas goodies, shopping to find the perfect gift for each person, the music, the movies, all of it! The decorations come out the day after Thanksgiving so I can enjoy them as long as possible. I even put a tree up in my bedroom! I think the most wonderful part is family. When you get right down to it, Christmas is the most special when I'm with my family, and if I get REALLY lucky, I'll get a white Christmas. This usually happens only once a decade. It happened last year, so I'm not holding out hope for this year, but a girl can always dream! Happy Christmas in July Ranae, and I'm hoping to WIN WIN WIN whatever delicious treat you have in store!
What do I love about Christmas? EVERYTHING. I celebrate Christmas year round by shopping a little at a time and observing Rudy Day on the 25th of each month with some holiday activity. I spend A LOT of time on several forums that are filled with people just like me. We post daily about Christmas things and share ideas and even do swaps.
I am hosting a Christmas in July Tablescape Party at my Playing Dishes blog. There will be one held each Saturday this month. Please come and participate or at least visit. A holiday tablecloth will be given away on the last Saturday, July 25. Info on signups is available by clicking my sidebar memes available on both my blogs.
I am also having a weekly Christmas giveaway at my Christmas Memories in My Heart blog. Weekly entries are closed out a midnight on Wednesday for this.
Hopefully some of you tablescape regulars will pull together a tablescape for CIJ or pull out some photos from last year to post.
Happy CIJ!
i hope you come by for a visit at Christmas Memories in My Heart or Playing Dishes for some fun. Both meme buttons are on each blog and info on signups is just a click away!
Forgot to add that I am adding your button about the CIJ Giveaways to my blogs.
What a lovely blog ~ Lisa invited me to come on over.
Always neat to have a new blog and friend to visit. Your Raggedy Annes are cute.
Christmas for me is always special because it is a time for family with great food, and good times.

How fun . . a surprise. Your surprises are always the best too!
I have added a link on my blog sidebar to your giveaway. :)
Let's see . . a Christmas related childhood memory. Going to church on Christmas eve for a candlelight service - loved that!
A funny memory - I was maybe 4 or 5 years old and was compelled to give myself a haircut. I cut my bangs off so far back - completely gone - near Thanksgiving and in the Chrismas photos that year I still had NO bangs. Too funny. I remember the night I did it too as my mom was making pizza for supper - my fav! - and she was sooo mad that I didn't get to eat! :( LOL
Have a great day Renae! ~Stacey
Barbie was a brand new gal when I was about 10....that's ALL I wanted for Christmas that year....I yearned to own that little gal with the black and white swimsuit and the ponytail. I had opened allll of my gifts, but one and it was NOT a Barbie shaped box. They were only 3 dollars at the time....how could I NOT get a Barbie??? I opened that last box and squealed with delight.....it WAS a Barbie...complete with the entire Mix and Match wardrobe. How wonderful!
I'd love to win your surprise! Please add me to your list of hopefuls!
Hugs,
Spencer
What I like about Christmas is getting and receiving presents :D
I found your lovely blog and I am so thrilled! I added myself as a follower and put your giveaway on my blog. The best memories of Christmas is our annual Christmas Tree Farm outing with my family. Each year my sisters and their families and my Dad and Step Mom go out to our local Christmas Tree Farm to chose and cut down a beautiful tree to bring home and decorate. Afterwards we all go to lunch and then home to decorate.
Thanks for the chance at a lovely giveaway

Oops, forgot the childhood memory. I have two favorite Christmas memories. The first was when my mom and dad got their 8mm movie camera. It was magic! I got a walking doll that year. The other was also when I was young. I remember getting a play typewriter and a transister radio. I listened to 'Born Free' on my little radio that day. : )

What a great giveaway! I have only been following your blog briefly but have it on My Favorites now. I love the holiday time. I love fall so much, because of the respite from the hot Texas heat. So, Thanksgiving and Halloween are fun in my family. Lots of nonsense and good eats, while sharing our lives together. My grandchildren (4) are the love of my life. They represent everything good that we have on this earth. God bless them as they grow up. Thanks for the great blog.
Love surprises! Christmas is fun time with family and friends. Lots of cheers and food. Love Christmas trees and decorations.
Hugs,
Oh I love Christmas and all around it.

Now I am your follower too.
I like X-mas since this is the only time of the year, when my whole family is together. I love baking so I usually bake 4-5 different cakes and cookies (every year something new) for Christmas.
I was 8 years old and my grandmother asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I wanted a blue skirt with a blue sweater. She went everywhere and found me exactly what I wanted for Christmas. I loved that Christmas because the next Christmas she was celebrating Christmas in Heaven.
I love surprises especially Christmasy ones! I would have to say that my favorite part of Christmas is digging into my stocking! If I had nothing else, I would want my stocking stuffer goodies to pull out! And I love filling up everyone elses stocking.
I am now a follower and will also be posting this on my blog as well.
I've added a pic and link back to here on my blog:

Thank you for this giveaway...Blessings to you,Dzintra
PS I love your background too
I would love to be entered in your giveaway please, although I don't have a blog. The things that make me smile are the wild creatures in my garden, the birds and bees of course, but also the hedgehog who lives under the hedge (where else) and the family of field voles who live in the warmth and safety of my compost bin. Then there are the field mice who come and steal food from under the bird feeders, and not forgetting the frogs in the pond and the newts in the damp corners. I have my own wildlife park in miniature :o)
My favorite moments about Christmas are those preceding it, starting from November.... baking, cooking, bathing in family atmosphere and laughter while preparing all the good things in the kitchen :) My grand-mother is 100,5 and she just sits now, but we are 5 generations enjoying these preparations. Starting from last year, I've introduced a tradition about making some type of handcraft together. This year, I plan to buy supplies for a family gathering paiting wooden figures so to create little Norwegian angels and such.
Please enter me in the draw for a chance to win :) I am also a follower.
I love everything about Christmas, but most of all is the happiness on the childrens faces. That is the best Christmas present.

My earliest Christmas memory is finding out there was no Santa. I was in my mom's room watching her get ready to go out with my dad and I happened to slide open the closet door. There was a big box covered with a large white sheet. When I asked her what it was she said some clothes for the salvation army. Well, of course I had to take a peak under the sheet. There right at the top was the "Tammy" doll I had asked Santa for. I quickly covered the box again and didn't say a word to anyone. From then on Christmas seemed to be lacking that "magic" because I had found out my mother and father bought the presents. My mother passed away when I was 12 and I never told her what I had discovered. Now I have 2 grandchildren and the oldest one, who is 9, still believes in Santa. I'm trying to keep the "magic" alive as long as possible for him. Christmas is such a wonderful, magical time of year, especially for children.
lovely giveaway idea Renae, love to be entered into your draw. I've added a pic and a link on my blog, I'm also a follower. Thanks
christmas is a lovely time of year, especially when you have children in the family. I love the warm magical feel when you put up the tree and decorations, the sheer delight on the kids faces when they find there is presents waiting for them in the morning. and of course we all love a little surprise hidden under the tree for ourselves :)
Ohhh, what a lovely giveaway!!

What a wonderful idea! My favorite Christmas memories revolve around putting up my mother's nativity set every year. It was always the highlight of our Christmas decorating, and today it has 'pride of place' among my own Christmas decorations.

3. Christmas memory - Christmas time at my grandparents! My sisters and I would arrive at my grandparent's house where there would be a bare tree, empty stocking and good smells coming from the kitchen. I remember the fear in the pit of my stomach, as family members arrived for the Christmas Eve dinner. I would worry because the tree was still bare when we went to bed...no lights, no ornaments, no star on top. I remember going to bed, hoping to stay away to hear the hoofs of the reindeer. But the best memory of them all was waking up very early Christmas morning, before the rising sun and the adults, and tip-toeing downstairs...the tree was lit and was adorned by ornaments and was being held up by mountains of presents. And the stockings were full and over flowing by the well decorated mantle. It was magic (unfortunately, about the time I was between 8-10, I was awaken around 1am by a winter storm and went down stairs to see all the adults wrapping presents and decorating the tree - oh well, the magic still lives in my heart as I continue the tradition for my boys).

It's always hard to describe the special way I feel at the Christmas season, and now that we have our first grandchild...a little boy...the holiday is even more special for us. Please enter me in your drawing. I am going to add a link to this on my blog right away.

I am now a follower. I will post on my blog. I love Love your dolls. They are sooooo cute.
I forgot to tell you my favorite memory of Christmas. My mom, decorated the wholllllle house. Top to bottom. I miss it since she died. She loved Christmas, it was her favorite time of the year and mine. I still have all of her decorations stored away. There are just too many for my small home. I am hoping my sons will one day want them. Each year I try to use different parts of her things to decorate my home.
Thank you for this chance - Christmas in July puts the holiday in the right temperature for me - however I remember a couple of years ago, when we were hosting our first Christmas in our new Home, the temperature plummetted abnormally and there was hail and sleet on the nearby hills. We nearly had a white Christmas that year.
I've shared your competition on my blog too!
Surprises are always fun - thanks for a giveaway. Christmas is by far my most favorite holiday. I love the food, the family, the Christmas tree (we make a big family thing of it) and the ornaments (it's bent double by the time we're through, but most of all I'm thankful we have a Savior who was born that day. :)
Christmas with my family is great! Some of us live out of state and only get to see each other once a yr. My fav part is when all us women gather in the kitchen and bake and gossip! What a neat idea!! I love Christmas. One of my favorite Christmas traditions was going to the late-night candlelight service at my church with my family. I take my kids now too but our late service is not quite so late. ;)
Thank you so much for the chance to enter :-) I have posted on my blog about it and become a follower. I am really enjoying reading your blog so am glad to have found it :-)
As for Christmas, I love the excitement of my children. The truky beautiful part is that they are just as excited making and giving us gifts and preparing everything as they do from what they receive
This has got to be the prettiest giveaway button I have EVER seen! I so admire people who are really good at digi-art!
One of my favorite childhood Christmas memories was when I was 4 (I was the youngest of 8) and I announced to my family that we were going to perform the nativity out of the book of Luke. I could read at the age of 4 so I assigned roles to my siblings and parents and they totally went along with it! I, of course, was the angel. I gave my brothers (who were shepherds) strict instructions that they were to not be scared when I jumped of the couch to give them "Glad tidings of great joy". So, I jumped off the couch and said, "BE NOT AFRAID"! They, of course, feigned great terror much to my utter disgust. I broke character and turned into the "director" and started chewing them out for acting scared, LOL! I was so mad at them for not "obeying" the director's instructions. Oh, it tickles my funny bone, now!
Speaking of giveaways I'd like to invite you to my giveaway! Come on over and join in the fun! :)
I love your giveways. And I love Christmas! I am going to follow you!
Sherry
I love your giveaway and I am now a follower and will post it on my blog.

How much fun...surprises are amazing, nevermind Christmas surprises....yay!!
I can't wait to get out all of the christmas decorations. I am always thinking of ways to make it better and bigger. The trees in my home are constantly changing. Everything that has a surface is covered with something sparkly and christmasy. There are lights everywhere and we even keep our outside trees lit year round with white lights. Entertaining at the drop of a hat with Family & Friends. Christmas is definately the happiest time of year and I think that it brings out the best in everyone. Who doesn't like Christmas!! I'm so excited just talking about it!!!
Thanks so much for the giveaway opportunity and have a fabulous weekend!!
Hugs xOxO, Nerina :)
Thanks for the giveaway, my favorit time it´s the christmas, family togheter, the gifts, decorating, all. greetings from Uruguay

Christmas in July! How fun!
The best thing about Christmas is passing down to my Grandchildren the belief in Jesus' birthday, a long time ago, in a land far away, on a magical night..............
I love the wonder in their eyes as they celebrate all things Christmas, but most of all, I love celebrating Jesus' birth.
You have a wonderful blog. I will become a follower, and will also post a link about your generous give-away on my blog-- patspattering.blogspot.com
Thanks!
Hey this is a great giveaway. I love surprises also. My favorite thing about Christmas is being able to spend time with family. I live across the country from them so this has become even more important.
Also I have become a follower and I blogged about your giveaway.
http://birdolovemoo.blogspot.com/2009/07/suprise-giveaway.html
I love Christmas - just like my name says. My favorite is always the one coming up.
I enjoy doing a lot of baking and candy making. A couple months before the holiday, I start looking for a couple new candy/cookie recipes to go with my favorites. Then I take a few days off work about a week prior to the holidays and spend the entire time in the kitchen. Then I'm off to deliver trays to the bank, the groomer, the vet, the hairdresser, the post office, the neighbors, everywhere.
Love the set up of your blog with the quotes running down the side. When my children were young, I had made a doll or two...one was a raggedy Ann. I should try to find that pattern and make another...I made the small version and the kids loved her too. I think she would be nice to keep me company in the sewing room....
Thanks for entering me.
I love surprises! Thanks for offering one! One of my favorite things about Christmas is reading aloud Christmas stories to my students. I especially love humorous Christmas stories. I love putting my Christmas quilt on our bed. It has Santa on his sleigh in the fabric.
Christmas , well the fact that I can now celebarte it with a tree and ornaments. As a child we were very poor and Christmas was just another day unless the church did something for us.
I signed up as a subscriber .
I too love surprises and I love Christmas. My favorite childhood Christmas memory may be the last one that I truly believed in Santa. I was getting a bit old to believe, so my parents had me sleep with my oldest sister. I kept waking up, crawling over her (never waking her up) and went exploring to see if Santa had arrived. At first peek I saw a bicycle tire, later visits had more parts.....to where my final visit was a beautiful 3-speed bicycle standing next to the tree and the fireplace was still glowing.
While I never did see Santa (nor my father), it was truly a special Christmas. Magical!

I love the look on my daughters face on Christmas morning. We love to celebrate Jesus birth and giving gifts to each other! I love the smell of a real tree and the cozy fire and fresh cinnamon rolls!
What a wonderful blog. My Dad was born on Christmas, we lost him in 2001 right before 9/11. Favorite memories now are about my mom. She stayed up late for months before Christmas making us five chidren dresses, pj's, dolls, and many other things. Money was tight in those days but she sewed us alot of love.
What a sweet and thoughtful giveaway! You've asked what I love most about Christmas...I love the beautiful reason for the holy day and season most. And, I love the angels and fruit and pink ornaments on our tree! I love having my children and grands around at any holiday, and I miss them since they all live so far away in different States. what a wonderful thing for you do to! Surprises are so wonderful. Just like Christmas morning. :) The one memory that really stands out in my mind is our daughters first Christmas. She was only a couple of months old and received her first Raggedy Ann Doll. This was the beginning of something very special not only for her, but for our whole family. Our daughter survived open heart surgery as a newborn, and we knew she had a special heart, just as Raggedy Ann does.(A heart that says "I Love You"),
Each Christmas after that Santa would bring her another Raggedy Ann, or a special Raggedy Ann ornament for the tree.
We all know how very blessed we are to have our daughter and we know the very special meaning of Christmas, and celebrating the Lord's birth, it is truly a special time of year for us!
Thank you so much for this fun chance!
Love your blog :)

What a lovely blog you have. I love the music you have chosen as well.
My favorite Christmas memory--I love everything about Christmas! As a child, memories are centered around church services, and wonderful magical times with family. As a Mom, seeing Christmas thru my children's eyes, I have memories to last a lifetime. I love the way everyone seems to be more open, more friendly at this time of year. I wish we could all keep Christmas in our hearts throughout the year!
It has been fun to read of the Christmas memories. Sherre
What a lovely giveaway to have! Surprises are always wonderful! My favorite thing about Christmas is watching the joy in my children's eyes as they open up their "special" present. I always save the special one for last and we record the "event!" There's nothing better than seeing that happiness on thier faces!

How fun! :) My favorite part of Christmas is all the nostalgia it brings... my entire family getting back together, staying up late sipping hot cocoa and cider by the fireplace as we read the nativity story on Christmas Eve... waking up early Christmas morning and having a warm, close-knit breakfast... giving gifts and watching little faces light up... the best part of Christmas memories is the time spent with family.
I've just become a follower of your blog! Thank you so much for sharing your stitchy goodness with me. I am not brave enough to start a blog of my own yet but until then I'm learning so much from blogs like yours.
Thank you to for offering a surprise give away....my most treasured Christmas memories were made when making cookies with my son and countless foster children of all ages through my years of foster parenting. I can only hope that lifelong memories were made for those children too!
When I was young, at night I would put on the Christmas carols at a low volume, turn the tree lights on, and lay behind the tree looking up at the lights. The room was usually dark and my other 7 siblings were off in other parts of the house. It was a magical time for me.
Thanks for the chance to enter!
OOh how exciting! A surprise box, wow. I guess my favourite thing about christmas would have to be decorating my tree with all my wonderful x-stitch ornies, and adding the lovely packages underneath, then enjoying a wonderful christmas dinner with family, my Dad always plays a certain Xmas CD.
My email details are in my blog profile. THANK YOU
Christmas is definitely my favorite time of year because of all the lovely music, smells, smiles, attitudes, ... just the FEELING you get around that time of year!!! AND the STITCHING!!!
LOL.

Hello. My name is Nicole and I live on Long Island. Our winters are mild here in NY, but I always look forward to the first snow. Now that I have a daughter, now 5, I get to relive my childhood all over again and spend precious long winter afternoons snuggled up inside decorating the house and baking Christmas cookies with her. I truly feel blessed when I look at her, she is my whole world. The magic of Christmas is alive in her as she learns the words to Christmas carols and stories we tell from the Bible while reading by the light of the Christmas tree. I know that she feels the magic because I can see it in her eyes. Thank you for giving us all the opportunity to be a part of your giveaway, you are a truly generous woman!
Christmas with the grandchildren is my most favourite time - watching their little faces light up with happiness!

My favorite Christmas memory has to be the year I secretly adopted a family down the street. I must have gotten 2,000.00 worth of donatins and bought these kids new blankets, clothes, books, pillows, underware and the like. I had some people they did not know deliver a van loaded with things to their house. My girlfriend and I hid in a car down the street so we could see it being unloaded. I had goose bumps the entire day.
The three boys were so greatful. When they came to visit me and tell me what had been done for them they asked if my floor was clean because they wanted to take off their jackets and lay them on the floor!!!
Their parents were part of the working poor. They had very little however they both worked.
I'll never forget that Christmas!!! My girlfriend and I ate chineese food and watched movies that day. We never exchanged gifts or even went to visit family. We were both single and really wanted to do something meaningful and I'm telling you that was it for us.
Smiles,
Kelly Jackson

Oh Renae. I can hardly wait. Thank you for sharing with us. I love the name Raggedy Blessings in itself. I have signed up to follow your blog, please pop over and do the same. I would love for you to follow mine. I think the best Christmas memories for me, would be the coming together of all of the families, the cousins, the aunts, uncles, grandparents, all of us together for one day to share our love and laughter. I think family is so important, and the love that mine shares is so generous that we have such a wonderful time just sharing our hearts. Yes that is the best Christmas memory for me. Thank you for asking and for sharing of yourself on this wonderful blog. Country Hugs Honey, Sherry
Christmas memories...new PJ's on Christmas Eve as a child. I could still remember looking forward to new flannel...loved the feeling and to know the next day we would all gather around the tree for our fun surprises.
I love christmas It is one of the few times throughout the year all my 8 brothers and sisters and our famlies are together at the famly farm.

oops! ~ forgot the memory... it was when I told my cousin that Santa Claus was my dad. He stayed up all night in the hallway closet. When his parents found him and asked what he was doing ~ he said ~ waiting up to see Uncle John because he IS Santa Claus. And you know what??? My dad was a lot like Santa Claus to me!
Love and Good Wishes,
Katie
What a great idea, thanks for the chance!! I've also posted a link on my blog :)
I love Christmas, there's a special kind of magic in the air. Everyone you see is smiling and happy and kind to each other - well except maybe on Dec 24 for those last minute people who don't have their shopping done and the stores are closing!!!
I just found your blog it is so lovely! And the best part of Christmas? Hmm how can I choose? I love the coldness and the lovely crisp winter evenings sat in besife a warm cosy fire ....creating new traditions with my own children and teaching them how to be creative and make homemade things, (I love homemade) we make decorations, christmas cards and hang tags and christmas presents for their friends and teachers, I love the looks of concentracion on their little faces as they learn something new,I love all the glitter and fiary lights and decorating of the tree, I love the lists of ever changing things that they would love to get from Santa oh and the ritual of opening the advent calender every day to see what little treat lies waiting, And Christmas Eve, I love Christmas Eve We cook the Ham for Christmas Day ( we have Turkey and Ham for Christmas Dinner here in Ireland)and bake it in the oven with a honey and mustard glaze and cloves I love the smell of it in the house and then we always have a few neighbours visiting with small gifts for the children, Oh and they usually have homemade mince pies, I Love making mince pies as do the children who like to eat the pastry and the mincemeat before it is cooked! But I suppose my favourite things of all have to be going to midnight mass to celebrate the birth of Jesus and waking up on Christmas Morning to the delightful screams of the children and most of all seeing the look of delight on their little faces when they open a gift that they really really wanted!
What a great idea! Don't all gals love a surprise? :-)
Please pop over and enter my little giveaway too! Who knows, maybe we'll win each other's!
Blessings,
Spencer
Your blog is beautiful. I love all of the images you share. I will definitely be back again!
Christmas is about love. Both the love from God through Jesus and the love betwwen each other. But today many people are lonely and very much during Christmas. So I pray that we will try to make someone happy this coming Christmas by invite someone to our home and celebration.
What a lovely surprise giveaway. I haven't come across your blog before but I've really enjoyed browsing through it. You are so creative and seem to have endless energy :>)
We're going through a similar situation at the moment trying to find a care home for MIL. It's very emotional and rather sad as she was 100 in April and has lived independently in her own home until now. She's always wanted to pass away peacefully in her own home like many of her brothers and sisters and her mum but sadly, since a sudden deterioration in her health a few months ago it looks as if this is not to be.
We have so many wonderful memories of Christmases at MIL's house. They had a really unusual tradition. On the morning after Christmas, everyone came down to find more presents under the Christmas tree. There was one for everybody always signed: From The Tree...haha! Even now we still keep this tradition :>)
Many good wishes and thanks Angela

Dear Jan,
Just few words from Christmas... I love the smell of the christmas tree, the smells of the cakes. I love to meet my family (we are together in my mom's house). I love the presents and making presents by myself.

Greetings from Hungary,

What I love most about Chirstmas is spending time with family, going to church thanking the Lord for what he's done and just plain being grateful for all you have. The excitement in my children's eyes as the tree gets lit for the first time. Hearing them talk about all the exciting things to come. Watching all the mistakes in the Christmas pagent and listening to the behind the scenes shenanigans afterward. Feeling the crunchy snow under my feet knowing that it will have to be shoveled that leads to hot cocoa afterward. I love Christmas, it's a good time for us.

I just found your blog and it's lovely. You are so generous sharing your beautiful images with all of us ^^
My strongest memory of Christmas is when I was a little kid. My parents, my sister, and I would sleep by the fireplace in the living room on Christmas Eve. They worked very hard to provide for us and got in the habit of sleeping downstairs just so they could get an extra wink of sleep on Christmas morning. We'd wake up and tear into our gifts as they slowly roused themselves to sleep muttering things like "That's nice honey....Lemme get the camera. Put the wrapping in the trash bag." Although I am happy with the way my family is now it's nice to have a good memory of when we all lived in one house.
Hi and thank you for this fun idea! My favorite times are spent with family and friends at Christmas, making and eating special treats, touring the beautiful homes of this area, and making gifts for one another. I've become a follower of your blog and am posting your giveaway to my blog. Marcy
Renae,
Christmas was always fun at our house. Typical kids would always ask what we were getting and reguardless of the sex the answer was always the same. A white sweater and pink boots. LOL
So when my kids were younger they would ask and my answer is the same. Even the boys would go ahhhh, MOM. No fair
white sweater and pink boots. LOL
Have a wonderful week. Please enter me for your wonderful goodies.
hugs,Pea

Oh.. My Memory.. Well, as a child, my Mother made Christmas always special.. Helping her bake and make sugar cookies and frost them. Watching all the favorite tv shows, helping wrap presents with her. She let us help decorate too. which was my favorite. She really made our christmas magical in every way. She was always making and giving gifts to people. I guess it is the sharing and caring of christmas I love the best. There is just a special feeling about the whole season. I just Love the whole reason of Giving!
Wow. I just came across your beautiful blog tonight. You have some very gorgeous picturs on here. I love christmas most of all for the time spent with family. We get a chance to go out and cut down a tree and then home again to decorate it. I love making hand made gifts for everyone to enjoy for many years to come. It's always a challenge to come up with something I think each person will love. I love the look of surprise and happiness on my sons face when you get's to open his presents in the morning and the look of joy on his face when he gives me my gift. Merry Christmas!!!
I just found your blog and love it. The biggest thing I love about Christmas is being together with my entire family. I also love to decorate and bake. Please enter me in your giveaway. I just LOVE surprises! I have added the link to my blog. Thanks, Valerie
I just stumbled across your blog, and I think it's lovely. A "Christmas-in-July" giveaway is a wonderful idea -- you're quite generous. I will tell you that my absolute favorite thing about Christmas is my lovely daughter, Maggie. She was born on Christmas day 18 years ago, and she's brought joy to my life ever since. She's starting college in a few weeks, and I'm going to miss her terribly!
I LOVE Surprises... and my 40th Birthday (OMG i can NOT believe I am going to be 40) is 08/04 so this would make a WONDERFUL birthday surprise!!!
My favorite Christmas memory... there are so many... I love Christmas.
As a Child... I can remember decorating the tree... I had Certain ornaments that were only mine to place on the tree... Each year my grandma & Grandpa bought me a new ornament (still do) to be placed on the tree. Then I recieved new PJ's to wear on Christmas Eve also. As I pull out these ornaments each year they bring back the memories... of Hot chocolate... and cookies... as we decorated the tree... while we watched the christmas movies... they were ALWAYS on when I was a kid... not so much anymore. I remember the ribbon hard candy that my Great Grandmother would bring ... and the nuts... and the huge meal... and it was always about just relaxing and enjoying the time we had to be thankful for another year to be with each other!
As an Adult... I have been blessed with a Very Awesome family and we love each other a great deal. Christmas is some of those same traditions... carried on to another generation. I have my 16 year old daughter stitching now... and we added to that ornament tradition ... now it is a cross stitched ornament a year!
I hope my kids take these traditions and add to them and make them their own too!
p.s. my daughters birthday is the same day as mine... so we share quite a bit in life!
Some twenty years ago,my children and me were looking for a new place to live .Our favorite
was one apartment in a quiet street nearby my parents, their school, my job etc.And would you beleive or not, on the second day of Chrismas owner called and said we can have it.This really was my
best Chrismas ever.
Christmas in July is Awesome! I am also participating in a Christmas in July Swap! Can't wait to get my goodies! I have also become a follower. Thank you for the opportunity!
Artful Blessings,
Kathryn
