Well Hello there it's been a while...(:

Hello...It's been a while since I posted .I was having issues getting onto my blog and just got tired of messing with the problem...But checked it today for some reason and it let me back on yay!!!!So here I am...(: lets see if I can keep up on some posts this time ..I know I have been so terrible about it..seems like Pinterest and my face book page get way to much of my attention.... which needs to change...(: I have been very busy chasing my beautiful toddler granddaughter around which is a blessing and I love it .She gets to spend lots of time with grandma while her mama finishes up her last semester at college and works full time. She has gotten to spend lots of time with me since the day she was born and I know how very blessed I am for that after talking to many grandparents that only get to see there grand kids a time or two a year.

I thought I would show you the dress form I made for my youngest daughters graduation party in May .She seen one and feel in love with it so yes mom had to come up with one for her .We molded it to her form and I played until I got it to what she liked. Getting her to stand still while I did the duct tape mold of her was the hardest I think  haha. It is so hard to believe my youngest graduated and will be off to college in a few weeks ,she starts a bit earlier then the rest of the kids .This mama is not sure how to feel about that lots of tears and emotions ...but have to put on my big girl panties and deal right..(: She choose to pick a college three hours away so I will spend some time traveling those country roads. The view is beautiful so that is a good thing..(:

And I have found a new passion making bracelets so here are a few pics of those. The sewing machine has had a bit of a break. I love bracelets so figured why not learn how to custom design my own since I have a very hard time finding what I like...(: They seem to be liked a bit by those that have purchased a few from me so I will keep learning and making them I guess....(:

And here are just a couple pics of some things I made for myself with my grams ferns growing in my garden. I have plans to make more things like this to sell possibly ...(:

And just a couple angel pictures .I love playing with those pennies ....(:

So I am still creating a bit .I do plan to start selling online again at some point...Life got me down dropped me to my knees for awhile.... but it will never keep me down for long.In the darkest of times you just have to keep searching for the light ...right...(: and the light and your strength just keep growing as you do.I have been told I have a gift  by some ..I am not sure about that myself but it keeps me going ..keeps me creating .I want to share that for as long as I can ,as long as there are people who seem to like what I do from time to time and like to purchase my stuff...(: To those that have kept me going with your kind words thank-you...it means more then you will ever know...(:And it does help to keep me creating my lil creations.  Have a good day!!! Great big huge (((Hugs))) Renae

A few jars I did for my Daughters wedding reception

Just a few of the lace jars I did up for my daughter and new son in laws wedding reception that was in October.I did coffee filter sunflowers that are in a couple of the pictures as well .It took me about three days to get a pattern tossed together for those that I liked, lots of test ones went in the trash lol. And I made lots of paper lanterns and wood signs. I did not get pics of everything at the reception ,with only three weeks to prepare ,very little sleep and rain that morning delaying things a bit ,it just didn't happen . They went to Vegas to get married ....so this mama missed her baby girls wedding day. But it's all good the reception was very nice and they did a little ceremony before hand.

I have not been on my blog for some time now. With my granddaughter  here with me most days while her mama finishes up college and works full time .Well  lets just say toddlers can keep you busy , but worth every minute of it. Now that she is a lil older not a baby anymore I am trying to get back to things. I have been busy making bracelets which I will post here soon,as well as some other things I have been making. I am having issues with my blog so I have to get it figured out or I will be starting a new one......just a tad bit frustrating .That's another reason I have not been on here, just no time to mess with trying to figure out the issue. But I need to if I'm going to get back to things .So Just a few pics of one of the things I was busy with recently I will post a few more things soon..have a great day!!! Big Hugs

Busy crafting again

Hello, it's been a bit since I have posted. I did my very first craft show yesterday in Dannebrog Nebraska along with my very talented Auntie Bev and cousin Heather .Above is a display tree I did up to hang my little bird nest ornaments on.The pumpkins are something new I came up with this past week while playing with my wire and beads .I got a few made up which all sold right away, not the best pictures due to my lack of time the past few weeks .I only had three weeks to get some things done before the show .Doing the craft show was a good thing because I am so ready to craft again. I just hope that feeling stays with me for a while .It just has not been there no matter how hard I would try. I had way to much going on in this head of mine that wouldn't let me focus ,but things are getting better. So you just might see me posting more now and busy getting things back in my Etsy. I hope and up on eBay that's the plan .Have a good day ! Big hugs (:

My granddaughter

A couple pictures of my beautiful daughter and granddaughter Bryndlee Renae ,named after her grandma .I can't put into words how my heart feels about that and this beautiful blessing we have been given in our lives. the gift of becoming a grandma is so much more then one can put into words loving it so much.

She arrived  January 7th, I got to watch the whole thing and wow is all I can say to that pretty awesome.  When she was placed in my arms at the hospital I looked down at her told her I was going to teach her all kinds of things how to make cookies ,plant flowers and such and bless her little heart she looked at me and smiled .We were all shocked only a couple hours old and already smiles on her face, needless to say the tears rolled down my face. A moment I will never forget .I am looking forward to so many more .

Lighted star hubby helped me make

While playing on Pinterest the other night I came across a lighted star that I just loved .So Hubby went out to the garage came up with a small piece of barn wood we had out there and we did this up.It is not like the one I seen but love it and the fact hubby helped me do it makes it even more special .He is not the crafty type but I think I have gotten him interested a bit after doing this one I hope so .This week-end we are going to work on another one I have pictured in this head of mine I will post it if it turns out.

If you want to make your own just take a piece of old wood trace a star on the back side drill holes and put lights in the holes easy peasy. The bottom is just burlap I wrapped around and used flat tacks to hold in place so I can change it as I want to .

Some magnets I made for the frig. They are easy to make just cut a piece of burlap or fabric and place paper ,tissue you could even use a page from an old book, wrapping paper whatever you like on top of the burlap. I stained a coffee filter and cut it a bit smaller then the burlap. Then place a pressed leaf, flower or feather on top of the filter .Take a piece of clear thin vinyl and sew around the edges. When sewing the vinyl you may have to place some tape under the foot on your sewing machine I used paper tape worked great for me and peels right off when finished that washi tape is good for lots of things (: Then just glue a magnet on the back. I did one up with a pressed rose but gave it away before I got a picture taken so I will have to make another one and post it later. This would even be a cute way to display family pictures ,poems lots of ideas. And would make a cute simple gift.

and some little paper  flower magnets made from rolled roses. Just a couple things I did this week. I will be back with a couple more things to show you soon that are almost finished .

My version of a stick star

I was playing with sticks today (: this is the first of several little ideas I have up in this silly head of mine right now. I have been driving hubby crazy at night sketching things out in my notepad with my flashlight. Needless to say my brain decides to get busy when I go to bed and want to sleep lol. My in-laws moved a couple months ago from the home they had lived in for 40 years. And being the sentimental person I am I cut some branches from a few trees on the property that will be taken out to build new homes on the ground .It will all be bulldozed and nothing left to remember but memories . The branches were from trees my hubby and his sister planted when they were kids and some lilac bushes that were there grandmothers . I cut them and brought them home with ornaments in mind for hubby his sister and parents .This is the first of them which is for my mother-in-law.I thought I would share pics with you.  I will have more of my silly little creations to post soon working on some wings that are almost finished. Have a good week-end.
