Tired of the cold and dreaming of spring

It is so cold and snowy here today has been for the past 5 days or so I cannot wait for spring . I want to be able to go in my backyard barefoot and walk in the green grass . Open the windows and let some nice fresh air inside . play in my flower garden . and just be able to go for a long walk . The snow is beautiful but after several months of it I start to dream of seeing green again the leaves on the bare trees , flowers poking out of the ground soon to be a sea of all kinds of beautiful colors birds flying all around . I just have to remind myself it will be here very soon :)

I have been busy sewing and doing lots of hand stitching , I forget to put my glasses on then find myself half asleep or asleep at my desk lol .I have lots of new ideas I am working on busy sketching them out between projects so I might be able to work on them later . I can't wait to bring the newest doll to form I hope she turns out at least somewhat the way I have her pictured in my head .Often I start in one direction and end up with something totally different I think that happens to allot of us :) but this one is special so she needs to be close to the sketches can't wait to finish her and share the pictures with all of you so you can see what is in this little head of mine right now lol . From her I have came up with other ideas as well soon to be created and posted I hope . Lets just say I have ideas to keep me busy for a while so if I tend not to be on here or by to visit for a few days you will know I am busy working and stitching away at them lots and lots of hand stitching is going to be involved in this one .

Annies and Images

Hello, I finally got some sewing done the past couple of days and finished up these two little Annie's .They will be going up on eBay later today or tomorrow . There are some images below for you :)

The weather was so nice here the past couple of days in the 50's just have to love that . Today it is very cold and possibly snow all week-end . A good time to do more sewing and some baking maybe curl up with hubby and the kids over the week-end and watch some movies. I want to thank everyone for all your kind words you are such a blessing and it means so much to me HUGS to all of you .I am just going to wait until things are all done and then just do what I need to so I can find peace with it all .

My aunt sent me the most beautiful link yesterday made me remember some things and why I do things the way I do as I know she does as well bless her heart :) and I am smiling again . I don't think she will mind me sharing it with all of you .

My Dad has always told me that when you fall down not to stay there it is much better to get up brush yourself off and keep going only then can things get better :) well that is what I am doing now I do that allot lately it seems but that is ok just stepping stones and things learned . I plan to put lots of energy into my work, for the past few months I was so burnt out on it that I just could not I was making myself sew .But I am back and ready to play with all that fabric etc again. I love being able to work with all the pretty spring colors again and cannot wait till it warms up to go searching for more vintage linens .

Good morning ,I hope you all had a good week-end . Hubby had to work all day Saturday so I sat at my sewing machine most of the day and did allot of hand stitching on a special item I am working on . Yesterday we went to visit my gram's which it is always nice to see her but hard at the same time she is not doing well and just tells us she wants to go be with my gramps looks so sad and lonely it is hard to see her that way . Then hubby took me to a couple little antique shops downtown which was fun , although hubby was bored just not his thing but he knew it would cheer me up a bit bless his heart . so not much excitement around here just a nice quite week-end which is always nice . The plan this week is to get lots of sewing done. I have taken way to long of a break from it which makes it a bit hard to get back into the routine . well I am off to get the kids to school then spend the day sewing .You may use the image below for your art work :) Have a good day
